The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) and RES are proposing the Fleury Winds Project

The Fleury Winds Project is being proposed near Neepawa, Manitoba, on Treaty 2 Territory, and in the Homeland of the Red River Métis in response to Manitoba Hydro’s Call for Power to deliver new energy generation to meet the growing demand for the next 30 years. The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) through its affiliate the Red River Métis Power Corporation (RRMPC) is the majority Indigenous partner and majority owner of the Fleury Winds Project.

This site will provide ongoing updates, resources and information about the proposed project.

A special initiative of:

The Fleury Winds project is majority-owned by the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF), the National Government of the Red River Métis, and being planned through its Red River Métis Power Corporation in partnership with Renewable Energy Systems Canada.

The project is responding to Manitoba’s intent and opportunity for tangible government-to-government partnership with the Manitoba Métis Federation. Through the project, Fleury Winds will increase Manitoba’s supply of reliable energy and keep it affordable for all Manitobans.
